Configuring an Alpha-Numeric Keyboard

The following steps describe how to configure an Alpha-Numeric Keyboard in the EMC:

1. Select the property, click Setup, and then click Alpha-Numeric Keyboard.
2. Insert a new record, selecting Regular Alpha-Numeric or Small Screen Alpha-Numeric from the template record drop-down list.
3. Add a name for the record, and then click OK.
4. In the list view, set the desired language from the Language drop-down list.
5. Click the Options button, and then ensure that the Default keyboard for this language option is enabled.
6. Double-click the record.
7. In the Page Design module, add the buttons for the workstation:

   • Popup Alpha Numeric Keyboard

   • Cancel (to be able to exit in the workstation)

8. Click Save.
