Configuring Standard Tables

  1. Select the revenue center, click Setup, and then click Tables.
  2. Select or enter information for the following fields.

    Field Description

    Table Number (# symbol)

    Enter a unique table number for each table in the revenue center.

    Name

    Enter a unique table name for each table in the revenue center. The table name entered here is used to identify checks unless option 18 - Use table object number instead of name on transactions is enabled in the RVC Parameters module.

    The Name field is limited to 16 characters:

    • All numeric

    • All alpha

    • Alpha and then numeric

    Class

    Select the dining table class, which defines the type of table.

  3. Click Save.
