Set Up the Connection

Start a New Connection

  1. In Frontline Manager, go to the MOP Module.
  2. Click Add New Connection.

This starts the guided setup process.

Complete Guided Setup

The following steps summarize the guided setup. You can save and exit after completing a setup page and then complete subsequent pages at a later time if necessary.

  1. Prepare to connect.

    Shows what needs to be set up in EMC before continuing.
    • Review the checklist
    • Make any required updates in EMC
    • Click Continue when ready
  2. Map your location.

    Connects your location to Mobile Order and Pay. If your location has:
    • One Revenue Center (RVC): it is selected automatically
    • Multiple RVCs: select the correct one from the drop-down menu

    If the mapping is successful, you can continue or save your progress. Your connection status becomes In Progress.

    If the mapping fails, an error message appears. Contact Oracle Support for help.

  3. Configure the connection.

    Enter connection details. All fields except condiment exclusions are required. You cannot continue until all required fields have been completed.

  4. Select images.

    Select the images customers see when ordering. The images come from your EMC revenue center configuration. Select all of the following:
    • Desktop Banner
    • Mobile Banner
    • Desktop Order Acceptance Image
    • Mobile Order Acceptance Image
  5. Set the hours.

    Define when Mobile Order and Pay is available. Configure the following details:
    • Days and times
    • Menu tags
    • Price levels (Optional-Enable Special Pricing)

    Hours cannot overlap. A warning appears if you enter dates that overlap and you cannot continue.

  6. Add legal policies.

    Enter the following required legal information:
    • Terms of Use
    • Privacy Policy
    • Cookies Policy
    • Marketing Opt-In

    You can paste URLs or add formatted text. All fields must be completed before continuing.

  7. Activate the connection.

    Review your setup and activate your location:
    • Click Activate Connection.
    • Your location becomes Active.

    Your ordering URL is now available for use.
