3 POS Software Setup

The GloriaFood integration requires the configuration of several Simphony components. The following areas require configuration, and they are grouped by where the configuration takes place:
  • Enterprise Management Console (EMC)

    • Simphony Transaction Services Generation 2

    • Tender Media

    • Order Types

    • Discounts

    • Service Charges

    • Menu Tags

    • Screen Look Ups (SLUs)

    • Menu Items

  • Simphony Home

    • Employee

    • Simphony Transaction Services Generation 2 API Account

The instructions in this document assume that the following components have already been configured in Simphony:
  • Employee Roles

    Employees who will process in-store payments need to have the role option 18 - Authorize/Perform Pickup of a Check Belonging to Another Operator enabled to view and pick up checks created by GloriaFood.

  • Workstations

  • Order Devices (kitchen displays or printers)

  • Menu Items

  • Print Classes

  • Currency Availability

  • Revenue Center

    During the initial setup, the GloriaFood integration pulls the following information from Simphony when creating the restaurant:

    • Consumer Facing Name

    • Phone Number

    • Address 1

    • Address 2

    • Address 3

    • City

    • State/Region

    • Zip/Postal Code

    • Country

    • Latitude

    • Longitude
