Prerequisites and Version Support

Before integrating GloriaFood with Simphony, adhere to the following prerequisites:

  • One to three sites are supported.

  • STS Gen2 is not supported in all locations. If you are unsure, contact your local Oracle representative.

  • You can enable STS Gen2 in your Simphony environment. If you are missing the ability to activate the STS Gen2 user, log an SR ticket.

  • If you are using Simphony and GloriaFood, there is no charge for STS Gen2. If you would like to use the same instance of STS Gen2 for other third-party applications, this is chargeable. In this instance, contact your local Oracle representative.
The GloriaFood integration requires one of the following POS software versions:

  • Simphony latest release

  • Simphony Essentials latest release

  • Reporting and Analytics (also referred to as Simphony Home) latest release

The following features are not supported with GloriaFood:

  • Fiscal information

  • Combo meals

  • Complex menus

    Condiments and modifiers are supported; pizzas, large menus, and conversation ordering are not supported.

  • Menu item and autopilot discounts

    Manual and automatic cart discounts are supported.

  • Gift and Loyalty

  • Customizations to front-end journey or workflow
