8 E-mail Alert Preferences

You can set preferences to receive warning and critical e-mail alerts. The following image shows how to access alert preferences.

Setting E-mail Alert Preferences

The following table describes the areas highlighted in the image.

Click the arrow next to your username to access the user profile drop-down menu.

Click Preferences to access the E-mail Alert Preferences menu.

In the E-mail Alert Preferences menu, set your preferences by marking the box next to the alert(s). There are two types of e-mail alerts to set:
  • Warning – notifies users of potential issues with Posting Performance or Location and Device status.

  • Critical – notifies users of severe issues, such as Queue Depth exceeding 90 minutes in the last five minute polling interval, or workstations being offline for more than 24 hours.

    • Recovered – notifies users a location is no longer in a critical state. This e-mail alert automatically sends when the Critical alert notification is selected and a critical state is resolved.

Once your preferences are set, click Save.
