Force Close Checks

Occasionally the workstation cannot pick up a check because there is something (menu item, discount, service charge) on it which was deleted from the configuration. When this occurs, the workstation displays a message like the following:

Read Check Unable To Find Menu Item Price Id: 150850

In cases where it is not possible to restore the deleted configuration data, the workstation operator cannot pick up checks and close them normally.

To clear checks in this state from the system, authorized users can press the Force Close button to make the workstation apply the system’s default Auto Close tender to the transaction and close it.
