Event Status Lifecycle
The event status lifecycle defines the various stages of an event and the operations associated with each stage:
- Pending: All fields are editable, including event type, template, and date/time.
- Open: Some fields (for example, event name, type, or template) are locked, while others can be edited.
- Accepting Pre-Orders: Orders can be placed by authorized users, while some event details remain locked.
- Pre-Orders Closed: No new orders can be placed, but existing orders can still be updated.
- Live: Orders are pushed to Simphony, and no further changes to event details are allowed.
- Live Orders Closed: No further updates to orders are accepted.
- Processing Payment: The event is finalizing outstanding payments for all orders. This state is automatically triggered and cannot be selected manually.
- Complete: All payments have been successfully processed, and the event is closed, preventing any further orders from being placed.
