About interactive coding

Interactive coding (or manual coding) requires you to manually search and select a code value from a dictionary level for a coding request. You use interactive coding to:

Select a code value when autocoding returns multiple matches or no matches.
Suggest synonyms for a code value.
Create a query for a verbatim.
Change an existing code value.
Run the autocode algorithm for a verbatim.
