Browsing the dictionary hierarchy

You can view the terms associated with the dictionary hierarchy in the coding browser. This view of the coding browser is for reviewing only, not coding.

  1. Select Coding Setup > Dictionaries.
    The Dictionaries page appears.
  2. Select a dictionary.
  3. Select Actions > Browse Dictionary.
    The Coding Browser dialog box appears in Search mode by default.
  4. Click the Browse (Browse icon. Change the coding mode to the Browse mode.) icon.

    The dialog box refreshes. For a description of the fields on this page, see Coding Browser dialog box.

    The hierarchy of terms for the selected dictionary appears in a tree format in the display area at the bottom of the dialog box.

  5. Expand and collapse the tree to view the terms in the dictionary hierarchy.
