About dictionary information
A coding dictionary is a standardized collection of terms and the codes that correspond to those terms.
Coding dictionaries are not included in the Oracle Central Coding installation and must be installed separately. A dictionary manager loads dictionaries and language packs in the Oracle Central Coding application using the Dictionary Loader tool. You cannot add or remove dictionaries using the Oracle Central Coding user interface.
You can view the list of loaded dictionaries and the details for each dictionary, or use the coding browser to become familiar with the terms in the dictionary hierarchy.
