Setting the default reconciliation options for verbatims

You can modify individual selections as needed when you reconcile verbatims. For more information, see Reconciling a verbatim.

1. Select Admin > System > Reconciliation Options.
   The Reconciliation Options page—View mode appears.
2. Click the Edit button.
   The Reconciliation Options page appears. For a description of the fields on this page, see Reconciliation Options page.
3. In the Default Actions column, select the option to be automatically selected on the Reconcile Verbatims page.

   The options are available based on the Allow Uncode setting on the System Configuration page.

   • Accept New—Selects the new autocode result (code, term, and path) in the New Code and Term column.
   • Keep Original—Selects the coding (code, term, and path) in the Original Code and Term column.
   • Uncoded—Selects the Uncode option in the Accept Uncode column.

     This option:

     • Is available only if Allow Uncode is selected on the System Configuration page.
     • Allows the Oracle Central Coding application to clear the code value and return the verbatim to the coder's queue to be recoded in standard workflow, so that you can complete the impact analysis process.
4. Click the Save button.
