Metadata from an InForm study

In an EDC-only or hybrid study, the InForm software uses synchronization to update metadata and clinical data in the Clintrial protocol. Synchronizing to the Clintrial protocol is performed through the InForm Adapter and Clintrial Adapter components of the CIS software. Each synchronization connection is associated, within CIS Administration, with a database instance and Clintrial protocol.

Synchronization connection properties in the CIS Administration application allow you to manage metadata changes after the initial synchronization is performed. For more information, see the CIS Administrator Guide.
