What are queries and discrepancies?

Queries and discrepancies arise from real or potential data problems, such as missing values, inconsistencies among entered values, or variation from expected ranges. Queries are handled in the InForm software by alerting the user to a data problem with a query message that describes the problem. The Clintrial software notifies users by creating an error log entry, and, through the Clintrial Resolve module, by creating a discrepancy record.
