How are queries and discrepancies resolved?

How queries and discrepancies are resolved depends on where the query resolution takes place. Queries arising from data entered in an EDC study are always resolved in the InForm software, even if the rule that triggered the query resides on the Clintrial server. In a hybrid study, discrepancies arising from data entered with the Clintrial Enter module can only be resolved in the Clintrial software.

Note: Because EDC data that is batch-loaded with the Manage or Lab Loader module is not synchronized from the InForm software to the Clintrial software, managing queries occurs through the Clintrial software even though the data is for EDC patients. For more information, see Lab Loader module.
