What are query and discrepancy states?
Query and discrepancy states reflect the progression of actions taken to raise and resolve issues with entered data.
In the Clintrial software and the InForm software, queries and discrepancies can exist in several states that indicate whether the data problem is:
- Proposed—The query is raised but not yet confirmed by the sponsor.
- Open—The data problem has been confirmed but has not yet been answered.
- Closed—The data has been changed to an acceptable value, or the existing value is accepted with an explanatory message.
By default, the CIS software maps the Clintrial Ready to Send discrepancy state to the InForm Open query state. All other Clintrial discrepancy states are mapped as InForm Candidate query states.
