System Responses to a Univariate Validation Failure
If the Univariate Validation Failure Alert configuration setting is disabled, and the Univariate Beep user preference is disabled, you are working in "silent" mode. The system creates a discrepancy for the error, but does not notify you.
If the Univariate Validation Failure Alert configuration setting is enabled, the system displays the Univariate Validation Failure window. You must respond to this window before the system allows you to continue to the next field (refer to User Responses to a Univariate Validation Failure). The window tells you what kind of univariate validation failed. If the Univariate Beep user preference is enabled, the system also beeps to indicate the error.
