Set middle-tier logging level

You can set the middle-tier logging level to include only select messages or all messages. But, logging all the messages can impact performance and slow down the response time of Oracle DMW.

To set the middle-tier logging level:

1. Click Navigation from the navigation bar and then click Administration.
2. Click the Tracing & Logging tab.
3. From the Update Level field in the Middle Tier Logging Level panel, leave the default setting of Info to log severe, warning, and information messages. Or, select one of the following:
   • Severe. Logs only severe messages.
   • Warning. Logs severe and warning messages.
   • Debug/Finest. Logs all messages (severe, warning, information, and debug).
4. If you changed the setting, click Apply.
5. Click Set to confirm the middle-tier logging setting or Cancel to cancel it. You see the latest setting in the Current Level field.
