Modify a Clinical One input model

The Clinical One model must have exactly the same table structures as in Clinical One. You cannot make any structural changes.

Tip:

You can change attributes that apply only in DMW, but if metadata is reloaded from Clinical One either manually or automatically, your manual changes are lost. See Load Clinical One metadata for more information.

1. Click Study Configurationfrom the navigation bar. Then click Clinical Data Models.
2. Select the model and the Development lifecycle.
3. Check out the model.
4. Make your changes. See:

   • Add constraints to tables

   • Set up data blinding in tables

   • Set up Unit of Work data processing for tables

   • Add or modify a table manually for information on adding tables aliases and SDTM identifiers. But do not add or remove tables.

   • Add columns to a table manually for information on adding column aliases, codelists, and SDTM identifiers. But do not add or remove columns.

5. Install the model. The system uses the old version until the new one is installed. The model must have a status of Installable.

   Note:

   A model is not installable if it does not have any tables or if any of its tables are not installable. A table is not installable if it has no columns.
