In a topic workflow configuration, you can define fields to store information for topics, actions, and attachments. - Manage Fields page
On the Manage Fields page, you can view all defined fields, including fields that apply only to specific states in the topic or action workflow, or to certain types of attachments. You can add, modify, and delete these fields. - View a field

When you add a field to a topic workflow configuration, it appears by default as a single value-entry field and accepts any alphanumeric value that a user enters. Alternatives to single value-entry include Append-Only and Multiple Values. - Add a drop-down list field
When you add a field to a topic workflow configuration, it appears by default as a value-entry field and accepts any alphanumeric value a user enters. An alternative is to provide a limited set of entries for a field to display a drop-down list with those values. - Add linked fields
In cases where user interaction with a pair of fields, which are related and requires a selection of one field before presenting the values that are valid for another, you can include a linked pair of drop-down lists in your topic workflow configuration. - Constrain field values by work team
You can limit the values that users can select for a field based on the user’s work team membership. - Identify a field as a filter field
Any field in a topic workflow configuration can be identified as a filter field. A filter field appears in the Select Filter drop-down list on the Filter bar of the Topics and Actions tables. - Edit a field
You can edit all defined fields, including general field information as well as the values defined for the fields. - Delete a field
Only custom fields can be deleted. - Modify the display order for a field
A field can only have one display order, even if it appears in more than one context. You can set the display order of the standard and custom fields.
