Delete an action state

You can delete action states; however, you cannot delete the Planned and Init states and action states in use.

  1. In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon (Settings icon).
  2. In the Configure System section, click Manage Topic Workflow Configurations.
  3. Click the configuration's Row Action menu (Row action menu icon), and then click Edit.
  4. On the Edit Topic Workflow Configuration page, click the Action States card.
  5. Click the action state's Row Action menu (Row action menu icon), and then click Delete.
  6. To delete the topic state, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel

    You cannot delete the Planned or Init (Initial) states, and you cannot delete a state that is currently assigned to any action.

    Note:

    When you delete a state, it is removed automatically as one of the possible next states for any other action states. You may need to adjust the email notification rules and the assignment of next possible states for the remaining action states.
