Refresh a signal configuration from the Refresh Signal Management page

To refresh a signal configuration for the first time, you must use the Refresh Signal Management page. However, for future refreshes, you can use a definition file.

You must have the Manage Signal Configurations and Create Data Mining Runs user permissions to initiate a refresh.

After you refresh a signal configuration, you should not edit the signal configuration.

Note:

You cannot schedule a refresh if a refresh is in progress.
  1. In the left navigation pane, click the Settings icon (Settings icon).
  2. In the Configure System section, click Manage Signal Configurations.
  3. Click the Row Action menu (Row Action menu icon) for the signal configuration, and then click Refresh.

    Note:

If you work with the Multi-enterprise enabled Argus configuration and the message, You do not have permission to refresh this configuration, appears at the top of the page and the Submit button is disabled, you don't have the necessary permission to perform a refresh.

    Note:

If you work with Multisource signal configurations, you must refresh the configuration after you perform certain activities.
  4. Specify when to perform the refresh:
    • Run as soon as possible—The refresh is executed immediately.
    • Do not run until—The refresh is executed on the date and time that you specify.
  5. To receive an email notification when the refresh is complete:
    1. Select the Email me when complete check box.
    2. Type one or more email addresses using a comma to separate each address.

The email addresses associated with your Oracle Empirica Signal user name appear by default. To change these email addresses, contact your site administrator.

  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click Continue.
