Install the Patch

To install the patch, you must first transfer and extract the contents of the patch set file on both database and middle tiers and then install it.

Extract the contents of the patch set file (p37171708_82040_Generic.zip) to a temporary directory <hdr8204_patch_dir>. This extracts the following files:

• hdr8204_artifacts.zip- Contains the following artifacts for the installation of Healthcare Data Repository 8.2.0.4:
  • Installation artifacts of Healthcare Data Repository Reference Information Model (RIM) server for the database and middle tier.
• ReadMe_HDR_8_2_0_4.htm - Contains the location of the most current user documentation and another copy of these Release Notes.

You can then install the patch on the database and middle tier as described in the following topics.
