Support for OHF and OHTR on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using a PAAS model

This topic outlines how Oracle Healthcare Foundation (OHF) and Oracle Healthcare Translational Research (OHTR) are supported on Oracle Cloud Infrustructure (OCI) using a PAAS model.

Support on OCI as a PAAS model includes:

• Installing OHF and OHTR Data Models on the Oracle Data Warehouse (ADW).
• Installing the OHF and OHTR Middle Tier on OCI virtual machines (VM) using the OHF and OHTR Installers.
• Pre-installing the Oracle Weblogic Server in the VM.
• Using a staging database. The OHF and OHTR Middle Tier installation in OCI requires a staging database that holds the Weblogic Repository Configuration Utility (RCU) schemas. This database also serves as an intermediate staging database during the install process.
• Additional configurations. After installing OHTR using the OHTR Installer, additional configurations are made to switch to the ADW database to connect to the OHF and OHTR in ADW.
