Description

Visit Type

Data type: String

Description: The type of visit. Valid types are:

  • Subject Visit-—A visit used to gather clinical data within the case book for the subject.
  • Common Visit—An internal mechanism used to contain common forms used in the study.
  • Screening—The visit that contains the Screening form, used for InForm screening. The Screening visit is not included in the case book for the subject.
  • Enrollment—The visit that contains the Enrollment form, used for InForm enrollment. The Enrollment visit is not included in the case book for the subject.
  • Monitor (Reg Docs)—An internal mechanism used to record information about a review of the study documentation.
  • Monitor (Visit Report)—An internal mechanism used to record information about a visit to a site by a monitor.

Note: To report only on clinical data, filter this column to include only common and subject visits.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database and decoded for display.

Start Hours

Data type: Numeric

Description: Number of hours from the subject enrollment to the start of the visit. This number is specified in the study design code and is used to create the proposed schedule of visits shown in the Visit Calculator when a subject is enrolled.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Is Scheduled Visit

Data type: Y/N

Description: Indicates whether the visit is a scheduled visit. Scheduled visits occur in a fixed relationship to the beginning of enrollment in a study by a subject. Scheduled visits start a specified number of hours after enrollment. Valid values are:

  • Y—The visit is scheduled.
  • N—The visit is not a scheduled visit.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database and decoded for display.

Is Repeating Visit

Data type: Y/N

Description: Indicates whether the visit is a repeating visit. Repeating visits are those that occur multiple times within a study. Repeating visits are always unscheduled. Valid values are:

  • Y—The visit is a repeating visit.
  • N—The visit is not a repeating visit.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database and decoded for display.

Is Dynamic Visit

Data type: Y/N

Description: Indicates whether the visit is a dynamic visit. Dynamic visits are created automatically when subject data satisfies certain criteria that you test by attaching a rule to a form item. Valid values are:

  • Y—The visit is dynamic.
  • N—The visit is not dynamic.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database and decoded for display.

Dynamic Projected Start Hours

Data type: Numeric

Description: The number of hours after the study starts that this visit is scheduled to take place. This value is used for dynamic visit scheduling.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Visit Order

Data type: Numeric

Description: A number that indicates the relative order of the visit within the study.

Note: Use Visit Order to sort visits in a report. This is helpful when the visit order is not implied in the Visit Mnemonic or Visit Name.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.

Design Note

Data type: String

Description: Optional text containing special information about the visit, specified in the study design code. This information is for documentation only and is not displayed in the InForm application.

Data source: Replicated from the InForm transactional database to the Reporting and Analysis database.
