Overview of the provisioning process
Provisioning users for Oracle Clinical One Platform is a two-step process:
- First, a delegated administrator at your organization creates users
for the training administrators and training managers and assigns the
appropriate role to them in Oracle Life Sciences Identity and Access Management
Service.
If you're currently managing training using Oracle InForm User Management Tool, IOL (Instruct OnLine), orOracle Health Sciences Learn, many of the training administrators and training managers at your organization have already been created for you in Oracle Life Sciences Identity and Access Management Service, and all you have to do is assign them the appropriate roles.
- Next, a training administrator creates the same users in Oracle Clinical One Platform and assigns the appropriate roles to them in Oracle Clinical One Platform.
Reminder: End users who take training don't need to be provisioned by an administrator because they don't need access to Oracle Life Sciences Identity and Access Management Service or Oracle Clinical One Platform. They will need Oracle accounts to access Oracle Health Sciences Learn, but they can create those accounts themselves the first time they open Oracle Health Sciences Learn.
