Finding an Appropriate Definition

You can look for an appropriate definition to use in several ways:

• If you know the location of the definition you need to use, click Create an Instance of an Existing Definition and use the Search utility there; see Using the Search and Select Window.
• To search with other criteria, including classifications and validation status, go to any screen with the Advanced Search utility, search, and make a note of the results. See "Advanced Search" in the Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub User's Guide for instructions.
• In the main Applications screen, navigate to a Domain or Application Area where you think you might find an appropriate definition, and click Maintain Definitions to see all the definitions in that Domain or Application Area library. See Navigating in the Applications Tab.
