Mapping Columns

When you map a Table Descriptor to a Table instance using any method, the system tries to map the Columns at the same time, by name. If the system cannot map the Columns, the mapping status of the Table Descriptor is set to Incomplete.

You must map the Columns manually before you can install the Program instance.

In most cases you map each Column of the Table Descriptor to a Column in the Table instance to which it is mapped. However, you can also map Columns to constants.
