Install Oracle Database

For upgrades from TMS 5.0.1 and 5.0.2, you must install Oracle Database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.2) or Oracle Database 19c (19.3.0.0). You cannot upgrade your existing Oracle Database 11g installation. Follow the instructions in Install Oracle Database.

TMS 5.1.x and TMS 5.2.x releases are installed on Oracle Database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.2). You can continue to use Oracle Database 12c Release 1 version or you can upgrade the database to 19c version.

Note:

TMS 5.1.2, 5.2.2, and 5.3 are certified on Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2.0.4) for Oracle Health Sciences Data Management Workbench (DMW) 2.x integrations. When integrated with DMW, upgrade from TMS 5.1.2, 5.2.2 and 5.3 to TMS 5.3.1 will require first to upgrade the Oracle Database 11g to Oracle Database 19c.
