Add a Guarantor

Complete the following steps to add a guarantor:

  1. Select the plus sign (+) to add a guarantor. The Search for Person dialog box is displayed.
  2. Search for an existing person.
    1. If person is found, select person and complete the information in Maintain Person Guarantor.
    2. Verify that the guarantor information, including the address, is complete. If the guarantor information is not complete, it must be updated using the Edit Person or Edit Patient workflows. See Edit Person Information in Oracle Health Patient Administration or Edit Patient Information in Oracle Health Patient Administration for details.
    3. Select Add.
    4. If the person is not found, select Add New Person. Maintain Person Guarantor is displayed. Complete the information, including address, and select Add. The patient's relationship to the guarantor is added.
