Edit Patient Information

This topic describes how to edit or add patient information when needed. You can also use this workflow to enroll the patient in Oracle Health Patient Portal.

Search for Patient

Search for and select the patient to open the patient profile. See Search for Persons.

Update Patient Information

To update patient information:
  1. Select Demographics.
  2. Verify and update patient information as needed.
  3. Select Save to save your updates.

Note:

Missing patient information may prompt tasks in the Needs Attention panel. For example, address, patient photo, and so on.

Update Patient Information from Patient Portrait

To update patient information from the Patient Portrait:
  1. Verify and update patient information as needed from the Patient Portrait.
  2. Save your updates.

Enroll in Oracle Health Patient Portal

If the patient has an email address, select Enroll Patient in the Patient Panel. An email is sent to the patient to enroll. If the patient is a minor, the enrollment invitation can be sent to an authorized representative (proxy). You can also indicate email or SMS text message as the preferred contact method.

Note:

The enrollment status for the patient or proxy is displayed in the Patient Panel.
