Manage Prior Authorizations

Determination of prior authorization can be integrated into scheduling and registration workflows. This determination is completed with automation enabled through provider-to-payer data exchange. This functionality automates the process of obtaining necessary payer approvals for services before they are provided, which can minimize care delays and reducing claim denials.

To view details for a specific authorization in Oracle Health Patient Administration:

1. Select a patient.
2. In the Prior Authorizations section, select a prior authorization. The Details dialog box is displayed.
