5 Code Sets

A code set is a collection of related items that represent a workflow, concept, or configuration. A code value represents a specific concept in the larger code set. For example, a code set could be Country and a code value could be United States.

The Code Sets section of the Configuration console allows you to select which values are available in the patient portal for a given code set.

You can review and activate or deactivate values in the following code sets depending on your organization's needs:
  • Appointment Types
  • Available Languages
  • Birth Sex
  • Care Team Relationship Roles
  • Countries
  • Ethnicity
  • Marital Status
  • Message Subject List
  • Message Types
  • Patient Relationship
  • Preferred Languages
  • Races
  • Scheduling - Cancellation Reasons
  • Scheduling - Reschedule Reasons
