Set the Adult Age

The adult age (or emancipation age) is the age when a minor legally becomes an adult. When minors reach this age, an option becomes available from the Settings menu in Oracle Health Patient Portal Cloud Service that they can use to select what information they want to restrict from their proxies.

By default, the adult age is 18.

To set the adult age:

1. From the Configuration page, select Configure Confidentiality.
2. Select Edit next to Adult Age. The Adult Age drawer opens.
3. Enter the age at which patients become adults in your jurisdiction.
4. Select Update.
