Configure Display Formats

The Display Formats tab of the Foundation module allows you to define how information is displayed to Patient Portal users.

Select the format that you want from the list of available items and then select Save.

You can set the display format of the following:

• Provider Name: How care provider names are displayed in the portal. By default, the format is [Prefix] [First Name] [Last Name], [Credentials]. For example, Dr. John Smith, MD.
• Default Unit of Measure: The system of measure used in the patient portal. Imperial is used by default.
• Number Separator: How thousands are separated from hundreds in large numbers. A comma (,) is used by default.
• Phone Number: How phone numbers are formatted in the patient portal. US +1 (###) ###-#### is used by default.
• Date: How months, days, and years are displayed. MM/DD/YYYY format is used by default.
• Time: How hours and minutes are displayed. HH:MM is used by default.
