Oracle Health Patient Portal now sends email notifications for EHR events.

UI impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Patient Portal users now can receive email notifications.

See the Messages section of the Oracle Health Patient Portal User Guide. Verify that you receive notifications for EHR events such as new documents, labs, or results.

Implementation impact: Low

Enable EHR event notifications in the Oracle Health Patient Portal Administrative Console.

Message Action Menu (HLG2-8361)

The Message Actions menu is available from the dashboard, messages list, and message detail view.

Patient Portal users now can reply, forward, mark as read, mark as unread, delete, reply, and forward messages from Patient Portal.

Message Search (HLG2-1274)

You can search within messages.

Patient Portal users can search for content, message participants, message dates and times, message subject, message body text, and attachment file names.

Sensitive Messages (HLG2-4619)

You can designate messages as Sensitive.

UI impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Patient Portal users now can designate a message as sensitive when sending a message. When a sensitive message is sent, only the user can view the message or replies from providers. Proxies cannot view the message.

Trusted Connection (HLG2-3387)

Patient portal users now can select whether to receive updates through text message, email, or push notifications.
