Access Workbench

Use Workbench first when you need governed Master Catalog discovery, workspace context, notebook-based SQL, compute clusters, collaboration, or managed/external table and volume workflows. Access to data depends on your organization's configuration, OCI IAM access, and Workbench RBAC permissions.

To access Workbench:

1. Open the Workbench web address or the Workbench link provided by your administrator.
2. Enter the credentials provided by your administrator or organization.
3. Select the workspace for your analysis from the left-hand panel.
4. Open the Master Catalog or catalog area to browse authorized Real-World Data (RWD), customer-provided data, or derived datasets in your workspace.
5. Continue your workflow with a notebook, or use Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) Database Actions or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) visualization workflow, depending on your task.
