Modify Details

You can modify the details of Specimen Collections in Oracle Health EHR.

The following details can be modified in Specimen Collections for pending and in progress collection requests:

• Override Reason
• Collection Comments
• Collection Method
• Specimen Type
• Body Site
• Collect Date/Time
• Collected By

The following details can be updated for collected specimens:

• Collected By
• Collected Date and Time

1. To modify a pending or in progress collection request:
   1. On the Specimen Collections page, access the Collect and Scan Items for pending collections.
   2. Select Edit next to a container.

      You can edit the details of the request.

   Note:

   To modify multiple collection requests, select the checkboxes next to collection requests, then select Modify at the top of the list.
2. To modify collected specimen details:
   1. On the Specimen Collections page, select See Collected Collections.
   2. Select Edit next to a collection.

      You can edit the details of the collection.

   Note:

   To modify multiple collections, select the checkboxes next to collections, then select Edit at the top of the list.
