Family Linking Available

Component: Family Linking

Sibling charts now can be accessed from a patient's chart.

UI Impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Pediatricians can access siblings and sibling charts for patients using the patient panel.

Verify that you can successfully complete the workflows in the Reference Materials.

Enhancement EHRM-22202:

Do Not Display Siblings Without a Patient Number

Component: Family Linking

Individuals who are registered as siblings but do not have a patient ID number are not displayed in the View Siblings panel.

UI Impact: Visual Only

Identify or create a patient with a registered sibling that does not have a patient ID number. Open the View Siblings panel for the patient. Verify that the sibling is not displayed on the list.

View Siblings Using Ask Oracle

Component: Family Linking

Sibling charts now can be accessed and viewed using the Ask Oracle box.

UI Impact: Workflow (Automatic)

Pediatricians can use Ask Oracle to view siblings and sibling charts for pediatric patients.

In the Ask Oracle box, say or type "View siblings for the current patient." Verify that the View Siblings panel is displayed.
