Overnight Tour Notification

The system generates notifications for guests, residents, or crew who book overnight excursion tours, both when they go ashore and when they return on-board. These notifications are triggered after their on-board status is successfully updated.

The system also updates the manifest status accordingly, setting it to ‘false’ during the overnight tour and resetting it to ‘true’ upon return.

The default notification messages are:

• When profile goes ashore: <profile’s full name> is going for an overnight tour.
• When profile goes on-board: < profile’s full name > is coming back from an overnight tour

Both messages can be customized in OHC Administration > System Setup > Labels Setup, GNG0118 and GNG119, respectively.
