1 Introduction
As a resilience feature, OCI IAM Identity Domains allows for the replication of an identity domain into other regions that are subscribed to by the OCI tenancy. This replication safeguards applications by ensuring uninterrupted access even during unforeseen challenges within the OCI IAM Identity Domain.
This feature is automatically enabled for the Default Identity Domain to every subscribed region within the OCI tenancy. However, any additional OCI IAM Identity Domains created within this OCI tenancy must manually enable this replication to other subscribed OCI regions.
Oracle highly recommends that customers enable this domain replication for maximum availability.
