Partner - Enabling Streaming

Streaming API Availability

The Streaming API is enabled for eligible customer environments.

Partners can begin testing and consuming business events after access to the customer environment is approved.

Partner Testing

Partners can initiate their testing in the partner sandbox environment. Request access through the partner Slack community.

Partners should complete a successful streaming test by confirming that their code correctly receives Business Events and does not encounter errors either from OHIP or from downstream systems. This is not an Oracle validation, but it is a necessary assurance for both the partner and the hotelier before accessing a hotelier's environment.

Existing Service Requests and Consulting Orders

Existing Service Requests and Consulting orders already submitted for Streaming enablement will continue to be processed. Customers and partners should not cancel existing requests.

New Service Requests or Consulting orders are no longer required solely to enable Streaming.

Note:

Streaming is enabled at the chain level. Once enabled for a chain, streaming applies to all associated hotels.

Partners must ensure that required approvals are obtained for the events configured on the customer environment. Customers grant access to consume events through the Developer Portal.
