Attractions

In this section you can define all attractions with appropriate details available for your property.

From the Content main menu, select Area and then select Attractions.

Managing Attractions

Managing Attractions shows all attractions and lets you view, create, edit, and delete records if appropriate permissions are given.

Note:

In addition to having the appropriate permissions, you must select at least one record in order edit or delete a record.

Creating and Editing Attractions

Select the Create button at the top of the screen or, if no record exists yet, select the Create button in the middle of the screen to create a record. Select a record and click the Edit icon in the tool bar to edit a record.
  • Keywords: Enter a keyword to find the point of interest. This field is required.

  • Name: Enter or search the name of the attractions. This field is required. This field allows a maximum of 25 characters.

  • Location Type: Select the location provided from the OPERA Cloud Distribution Global Standards. This field is required.

  • Attraction Type: Select the attraction type provided from the OPERA Cloud Distribution Global Standards. This field is required.

  • Distance: Enter the distance to/from your property. This field is required

  • Unit: Select the unit valid for the distance. This field is required.

  • Website: Enter the website of the attraction.

  • Opening Time: Enter the opening time.

  • Closing Time: Enter the closing time.

  • Days: Select the operational days of the attraction. Select Custom to define certain days, for example, attraction is available only on Monday and Thursday.

  • Driving Time: Enter the driving time from/to your property.

  • Transportation Type: Select one or multiple transportation types defined under Area – Transportation.

  • Latitude: Enter the latitude of the attraction. This field is required.

  • Longitude: Enter the longitude of the attraction. This field is required.

  • Direction: Select the direction of the attraction. This field is required.

  • Sequence: Enter the sequence in which the attraction is ordered in a list. If no sequence is defined or some records have the same sequence, the sequence is sorted in alphabetical order.

  • Driving Directions to Property: Enter the driving directions to your property.

  • Additional Description: Enter any additional description.

Click Submit and then select either Submit to create the record or click Submit and Create another to continue creating records. Click Update to save your edits on existing records.

Deleting an Attraction

Select the attraction and click the Delete icon in the tool bar. A message provides you with the option to Keep or Delete the record.
