Services

This option offers the configuration of business services available at your property.

From the Content main menu, select General and then select Services.

Managing Services

Managing Services shows all business services and lets you view, create, edit, and delete records if appropriate permissions are given.
  • Filter option: Use the filter by any entered text. Filtering starts as soon as you type text in the field.

    Note:

    In addition to having the appropriate permissions, you must select at least one record in order edit or delete a record. The Create option is enabled only when no records are selected.

Creating and Editing Business Services

Select the Add icon in the tool bar or, if no security feature exists yet, select the Add button in the middle of the screen to create a record. Use the pencil on the right-hand side of each record to edit a service.
  • Business Service Type: Select the business service type provided by the OPERA Cloud Distribution Global Standards. This field is required.

  • Proximity: Select the proximity for the feature.

  • Quantity: Enter the quantity of the service type. By default, it is set to one when adding a new record.

  • Available to all Guests: Select this check box if the service type is available for all guests in the property.

  • Exclusive: Select this check box if the Business Service Type is exclusive.

  • Extra Charges: Select this check box if the Business Service Type has extra charges. If selected, the Charge Amount and Charge unit fields are required.

  • Charge Amount: Enter the charge amount for the Business Service Type. This field is accessible if Extra Charge is selected and required.

  • Charge Unit: Select the charge unit. This field is accessible if Extra Charge is selected and required.

Click Submit and then select either Submit to create the record or Submit and Create Another to continue creating records. Click Update to save your edits on existing records.

Deleting Business Services

Select one, multiple or all Services and select the Delete icon in the tool bar. A message provides you with the option to Keep or Delete the record.
