Reinstating No Show Reservations

You can reinstate a no show reservation with a departure date the same as or greater than the current business date. The arrival date is automatically updated to the business date, and the original departure date remains on the reservation. Reinstating a reservation deducts the specified room type from inventory. You must have the required overbooking tasks assigned to your role(s) to overbook the property.

Reinstating a No Show Reservation

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Reservations, and then select Manage Reservation.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select the no show reservation in the search result, then click I Want to... and select Reinstate Reservation .

  4. The reservation is reinstated and the assigned room is removed. If the reservation is part of a sharing reservation and one of the share reservations is still assigned this room, then the reservation is reinstated and the room and share are kept.
