Income Audit

Prerequisites for Income Audit.

Income Audit allows you to adjust revenues after the Advance Business Date procedure completes; leaving the status of the prior business date(s) open so you can post and adjust guest ledger sales charges for reservations still in-house.

End of Day procedures such as Arrivals Not Checked-In, Departures Not Checked Out, Country and State Check, Close Cashiers, Post Accommodation and Taxes and Advance the Business Date still execute regardless of whether the Income Audit OPERA Control is active or not.

An interim set of End of Procedures is then executed and an interim set of End of Day reports are generated. For more information, see End of Day (Night Audit) Procedures.

The End of Day routine then halts, leaving the status of the business date open.

Through Income Audit, you can select an open business date and proceed to post guest ledger sale charges and adjustments on the past business date

After your corrections are complete, you can complete End of Day for the open date,  run the final set of End of Day procedures, generate the finalized End of Report reports and close the business date.

Back Office Export and other procedures that require the finalized revenue are only included in the final End of Day procedure list.

Each past business date must be finalized and closed in chronological order.

Note:

You must configure an income audit cashier and select this cashier for the Income Audit Cashier setting OPERA Control.
