Configuring Attraction Categories

Create categories for attractions -  such as amusement parks, historic sites, zoos, or museums. This categorisation provides users with the ability to search for a category of attractions first and then view the individual attractions within that category.

Adding Attraction Categories

When the OPERA Multi-property Cross Reservation Cloud Service is active, new Attraction Categories are created by selecting the Template tab. Once created, you can copy Attraction Categories to specific properties using the Copyaction. See Copying Configuration Codes to Multiple Properties for more information.
  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Attraction Categories.

  2. Click New and complete the following

    1. Code. Enter an attraction category code.

    2. Description. Enter the description for the attraction category.

      1. Manage Translation. Select to open the multi-language descriptions screen and configure a translated menu name for each language

    3. Sequence. Enter a display sequence.

  3. Click Save.

Editing Attraction Categories

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Attraction Categories.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the Attraction category, click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Attraction Categories

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Chain and Property and select Attraction Categories.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the Attraction category, click the vertical ellipsis and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete and confirm the deletion.
