Configuring Amenities

Configure the various amenities available at your properties. Amenities are classes as either General or Meeting and referenced in Property configuration.

If some amenities are seasonal enter date range accordingly.

Adding Amenities

Note:

When the OPERA Multi-property Cross Reservation Cloud Service is active, new Amenities are created by selecting the Template tab. Once created, you can copy Amenities to specific properties using the Copy action. See Copying Configuration Codes to Multiple Properties for more information.
  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, selectChain and Property and select Amenities.

  2. Click New and complete the following

    1. Code. Enter a code for the amenity .

    2. Description. Enter the name of the amenity.

    3. Type. Select a type from the list: General or Meeting

    4. Start Date. Enter or select a start date

    5. End Date. Enter or select an end date

    6. Sequence. Enter a sequence number that determines the position of this amenity in listings.

    7. Notes. Enter any notes regarding this amenity

  3. Click Save.

Editing Amenities

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, selectChain and Property and select Amenities.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the Amenity, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Amenities

  1. From the Administration menu, select Enterprise, selectChain and Property and select Amenities.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the Amenity, click theActions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete and confirm the deletion.
