Configuring Owner Room Grades

Available when the Room Rotation and the Owner Room Grade OPERA Controls are active, use Owner Room Grades to configure the grades in which Owner Rooms will be evaluated. An Owner Room Grade value is selected in rooms configured as owner rooms, and is used to determine the resulting room rotation behavior based on the value selected in the Room Order Preference for Owner Rooms OPERA Control.

When configuring Owner Room Grades, the grades are ordered by Sequence number, with the lowest sequence number being the highest, most desirable grade. Rooms are assigned in Room Assignment and Batch Room Assignment grouped by Owner Room Grade in conjunction with the Room Order Preference for Owner Rooms OPERA Control. 

Adding Owner Room Grades

  1. From the Administration, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Owner Room Grade Codes.

  2. Click Newand complete the following:

    1. Property: Enter or select a property.

    2. Code: Enter an alpha-numeric code to be used for the Owner Room Grade.

    3. Description: Enter a description of the Owner Room Grade.

      1. Manage Translations: Select link to open the multi-language descriptions page to configure language translations for the description.  (Available when the Multi Language OPERA Control is active).

    4. Sequence: Enter a sequence number, the lowest sequence number being the highest, most desirable grade.

    5. Click Save or click Save and Continue to save this code and add another.

Editing Owner Room Grades

  1. From the Administration, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Owner Room Grade Codes.

  2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

  3. Select the owner room grade code in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Owner Room Grades

  1. From the Administration, select Inventory, select Room Rotation, then select Owner Room Grade Codes.

  2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

  3. Select the owner room grade code in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
