Setting Up the Microsoft Edge Browser

Allowing Pop-up Windows

Pop-up blockers prevent OPERA Cloud pages from loading in the browser

1. In Microsoft Edge , go to Settings and more > Settings > Site permissions.

2. Select Pop-ups and redirects.

3. Move the Block toggle to On.

4. Click Add for Allow.

5. Enter your domain name for OPERA Cloud. For example, *.oracleindustry.com

6. Click Add.

Setting OPERA Cloud as Home Page

The home page appears in the browser when you select the home button on the toolbar.

1. Click the More Options icon (three dots) on the browser.

2. Select Settings.

3. Click the Open Microsoft Edge with drop-down menu.

4. Select A specific page or pages.

5. Enter or paste the OPERA Cloud home page URL into the text field.

6. Click OK to confirm.

Deactivate Payment Autofill

1. In the Edge toolbar, click Settings.

2. Select Profiles.

3. Select Payment Info.

4. Toggle Save and fill payment info to Off.

Turn Off Autofill 

1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.

2. Click on the Settings and more menu (3 horizontal dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window.

3. From the drop-down menu select Settings.

4. Scroll down to Advanced settings and click the View advanced settings button.

5. In the Privacy and services set Save form entries to the off position (grayscale).

Clear Autofill Data 

1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.

2. Click on the Settings and more menu (3 horizontal dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window.

3. From the drop-down menu select Settings.

4. Click the Choose what to clear button under Clear browsing data.

5. In addition to the checkboxes selected as defaults, select the checkbox for Form data.

6. Click Clear.
